Polyphonia was founded in 2019 by Jade Pybus and Andy Theakstone, who over the past 15 years, have composed award winning music, record production, live and immersive interactive sound for an expansive collection of projects including film, television, advertising campaigns, gallery works and exhibitions.
Previous work includes projects with Es Devlin, Cirque Du Soleil, No Ghost, Chanel, Moët & Chandon, Instagram, BBC, Convergence, Nike, Apple, Adult Swim, Chanel,
Google and Somerset House, London.
They have released commercial music via some of the most respected record labels in the music industry, including Ninja Tune, Brainfeeder, Houndstooth, Planet Mu and Dirtybird Records, Atlantic Records, BMG Records, and have performed live together across the UK and Europe.
Alongside an accomplished team of composers & musicians, creative coders and technicians, Pybus and Theakstone bestow a collective vast experience in developing bespoke sound for disparate physical environments. In particular their expertise and unique approach to choral music and voice, contemporary orchestration and sound design has seen Polyphonia’s work exhibited all over the world including New York, London, Montreal, Miami and Dubai.
